The Cheticamp River Salmon Association conducts annual water temperature studies on the Cheticamp River using temperature loggers at key locations from the Cheticamp reservoir/flowage down river to the estuary, including significant tributaries. This helps to assess summer water temperatures and identify and monitor cold water refugia.
