MACHINE FOR LONGITUDINAL CUTTING OF LOGS

The utility model relates to the field of woodworking and can be used for longitudinal sawing of round logs on a two-edged beam (carriage)， unedged boards and slabs. The machine includes a device for orienting and promoting logs， a saw block consisting of lower and upper saw shafts with circular saws， each of which is fixed in position in the support bearing assemblies. One of the bearing assemblies of each saw shaft is mounted on a movable leaf located in the window of the saw block wall and pivotally mounted on curved levers， which， in turn， are pivotally mounted on the saw block wall. Bearing units are equipped with seating bushings， which are rigidly mounted on the inner rings of the bearings and in the working position are fixed at the ends of the saw shafts by key coupling. The design features of the machine provide free access to the cavity of the saw block for commissioning and repair.
