This register contains record of all the pre-emptive leases in the Land District of Narrandera, kept by the Narrandera Crown Land Agents Office.This register records information such as name and address of leasee, number of lease, date of notification in the Government Gazette, county and parish, the area, the annual rent, the amount of rent paid, the period for which the rent is paid, the date of payment, and the folio number of the lease application register, as well as any other remarks.The register is divided into sections for pre-emptive leases, defined pre-emptive leases, undefined pre-emptive leases and auction leases.The pre-emptive leases cover numbers 1875/10 - 1884/15 for the period 17/09/1878 - 12/12/1884.The defined pre-emptive leases cover numbers 1874/1 - 1875/5 for the period 14/10/1878 - 27/09/1882.The undefined pre-emptive leases cover numbers 1870/2 - 1870/8 for the period 03/10/1878 - 03/10/1878.The auction leases cover numbers 1880/725 - 1880/922 for the period 01/12/1880 - 29/09/1884.
