Bioremediation of soil from Vietnam contaminated with herbicides and dioxin.

This study aims to get a more fundamental understanding of the bioremediation processes and to determine the key bacteria responsible for herbicides and dioxin degradation. Two approaches including natural and enhanced bioremediations were established in mesocosms containing herbicide and dioxin-polluted soil collected from Bien Hoa airbase to compare the efficiency of degradation in these treatments on the one hand and to observe the change of bacterial community structure on the other hand.
