RAD-seq data for assessing the genetic diversity and the genome-wide, neutral and adaptive genetic structure of a keystone ungulate species in the Pantanal, Cerrado and Atlantic Forest, Brazil

RAD-seq sequences were used to assess the genetic diversity and the genome-wide, neutral, and adaptive genetic structure of Tayassu pecari populations from Pantanal, Cerrado, and Atlantic Forest in Brazil. We tested isolation-by-distance (IBD) and isolation-by-environment (IBE) models for the neutral and adaptive data sets, and also identified the biological function of candidate genes.
