Chronic prostatitis (CP CPPS) is one of the most common urological diseases, and UPOINT-based multimodal treatment still fails in one of three of patients. Concomitantly, there is a lack of prognostic tools for treatment response. Here, we study whether interindividual differences in the human gut microbiome can aid in the prediction of the efficacy of UPOINT-based treatment in CP CPPS.
