Replication package for: Distributed-trace analysis in microservice systems - a systematic mapping study
收藏资源简介:
Data, method documentation, and analysis code for the systematic mapping study "Distributed-Trace Analysis in Microservice Systems: A Systematic Mapping Study". The study maps 149 primary studies that analyse distributed traces of microservice systems, classified along three facets: research topic, contribution type, and analysis-technique family. Full text was obtained for 76 of them, for which telemetry modality, tracing standard, evaluation subjects, and evaluation metrics are also recorded. The package contains the classified dataset with its codebook, the screening decisions with exclusion reasons, the protocol as executed including search strings and dates, PRISMA 2020 selection counts, the documented gap check against existing secondary studies, the list of included studies with DOIs (CSV and RIS), citation links derived from OpenAlex (direct citations among included studies, and external works cited by at least two of them), and a Jupyter notebook that regenerates every figure and count table in the paper. Two extraction depths must not be conflated: topic, contribution type, and technique are recorded for all 149 studies, whereas modality, standards, datasets, and metrics are recorded only for the 76 studies whose full text was obtained. An empty analytical cell means "not extracted", never zero. See codebook.md. The package deliberately contains no text from the reviewed publications. Studies are identified by DOI so that readers may obtain them from their publishers.
