AAindex

AAindex is a database of numerical indices representing various physicochemical and biochemical properties of amino acids and pairs of amino acids.Accordingly AAindex consists of three sections now: AAindex1 for the amino acid index of 20 numerical values, AAindex2 for the amino acid substitution matrix and AAindex3 for the statistical protein contact potentials. All data are derived from published literature.

AAindex（AAindex）数据库是一个收录氨基酸及氨基酸对各类理化与生化性质数值索引的数据库。目前AAindex包含三个子库：AAindex1收录包含20个数值的氨基酸索引，AAindex2收录氨基酸替换矩阵，AAindex3收录统计性蛋白质接触势能。所有数据均来源于已发表的学术文献。
