This dataset contains illumina tag sequences for the v3-v4 region of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene. Sediment samples were taken on yearly cruises to the LTER Hausgarten in the Eastern Fram Strait. The first centimeter of sediment was used for DNA extraction using the MoBio UltraClean DNA isolation kit.
