The effects of the opioid receptor antagonist naloxone and the agonist enkephalin on the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells were investigated. Naloxone accelerates neural stem cell proliferation and increases neural cell apoptosis. Cells cultured with naloxone for 3 d and cells induced to differentiate by naloxone and enkephalin were collected, and genomic DNA was extracted for RRBS analysis. As well as extracting RNA for transcriptome analysis.
