Distance-based transect: Bird Sighting

This field data was collected at the grasslands situated in York University. This research was done by a group of undergraduate students under the supervison of a T.A. In this field experiment, distance-based transects were laid out to record the frequency of bird sightings within the specified area of the grassland and woodlot. The purpose of this experiment was to record the frequency of bird species seen in a specified transect length of 50 paces.This experiment was repeated atleast 5 times in each habitat, woodlot and grassland.
