Dataset on characteristics of polystyrene microplastic in order to test homoaggregation process

Environmentally realistic polystyrene microplastic (PSMP) produced by cryomilling of daily-use polystyrene products were investigated in order to test homoaggregation process in deionized water and NaCl solutions. This dataset contains the analytical results characterizing chemical nature, specific surface area, size, shape and morphology of tested PSMP particles and stability of PSMP suspensions in experimental solutions: (1) – IR spectrum, (2)– TG-MS patterns, (3) – images and particles length calculation using ImageJ, (4) – all particles characteristics for five measurements and images, (5) – BET report, and (6) – zeta potential data in the temperature range 1-30degC.
