In this study, 16S rDNA metabarcoding of particles-attached prokaryotic communities, collected at fixed station in the Gulf of Naples (Italy) from October 2017 to September 2018. These data were combined with Chaetoceros light microscopy counts, in order to explore putative Chaetoceros-prokaryote associations and the nature as well as the dynamics of these interactions.
