Main payment methods for online grocery shopping in Mexico 2021

Debit cards appear to be the most popular payment method among consumers purchasing groceries online in Mexico. As a 2022 study indicates, nearly two-thirds of e-grocery shoppers said they used a debit or credit card for these purchases. Other popular payment methods are cash-on-delivery and cash payments at chain retail stores, by 11 percent and six percent of respondents, respectively.
