Self-broadened H2O measurements and analysis were performed with to determine the H2O self-continuum. Zenodo serves as a repository for the continuum data and measurement database. Measurements in the spectral range of 700 – 2000 cm⁻¹ were conducted using a Bruker 125HR Interferometer with an attached multi-reflection cell. The spectral resolution was 0.003 cm⁻¹. Measurements were corrected regarding the wavenumber axis (→ N2O reference lines [1]), detector non-linearity, thermal self-radiation, and the instrumental line profile function (→ LINEFIT [2]). Continua were determined in the v2 in-band region (1350 – 1900 cm⁻¹) for five different temperatures between 279 K and 353 K, as well as in the atmospheric window (700 – 1350 cm⁻¹) for room temperature. The measurements used for this purpose had water vapor pressures between 3 and 20 mbar and absorption path lengths between 14 and 165 m.
