This PPG (Photoplethysmography) dataset was constructed within the experimental framework of the NSF/RNP U.S.-Brazil HealthSense project. The dataset is utilized to test a BEAT authentication system based on PPG biometric signals. It encompasses data from 30 healthy individuals, aged between 23 and 53 years, with no recorded history of cardiac diseases. PPG signals from each individual were collected and recorded in both standing and sitting positions. The NR2/UFPR#1 dataset contains data from individuals in a sitting position, while the NR2/UFPR#2 dataset includes data from individuals in a standing position.
