Montgomery Ward Tower Building

The Montgomery Ward Tower Buidling was constructed in 1899, and was at the time the tallest building in Chicago at a height of 394 feet. It was surpassed by the construction of the Wrigley Building in 1924. This is a representation of the building when it was built, before additional stories were added around the tower, and before the tower spire was removed. It currently stands at a bit under 300 feet tall today, and looks much different. It was converted to condominiums in 2001.
