Bisulfite sequencing of cis-regulatory elements of ESR1 from white-throated sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis) brain

Targeted sequencing of PCR amplicons from cis-regulatory elements of ESR1. These data were generated from bisulfite-converted genomic DNA extracted from neural tissue offree-living adults and nestlings of the white-throated sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis). The purpose of this study was to investigate the contribution of DNA methylation to gene expression and social behavior.
