Schisandrin C Regulates Obesity through CD36, CYP7A1 and CYP7B1 in High Fat Diet induced Obese Mice

Using the Illumina high-throughput sequencing platform, we conducted transcriptional profiling on liver tissues of C57BL/6 mice that were treated with a high-fat diet and administered Schisandrin C, simvastatin, or both. We analyzed the resulting transcript data to determine differential gene expression at the transcript level. We examined mRNA levels in the liver tissues of C57BL/6 mice that were treated with Schisandrin C, simvastatin, or a combination of Schisandrin C and simvastatin, and fed a high-fat diet.
