Geographic Boundaries 2024 (statewide)

These data were developed by the Research & Analytics Department at the Atlanta Regional Commission using data from the U.S. Census Bureau and local sources to show geographic boundaries for the ACS 2024 data release. Therefore, any measure reported by ACS should not be taken as an exact number – this is why a corresponding margin of error (MOE) is also given for ACS measures. The size of the MOE relative to its corresponding estimate value provides an indication of confidence in the accuracy of each estimate. Each MOE is expressed in the same units as its corresponding measure; for example, if the estimate value is expressed as a number, then its MOE will also be a number; if the estimate value is expressed as a percent, then its MOE will also be a percent. The user should also note that for relatively small geographic areas, such as census tracts shown here, ACS only releases combined 5-year estimates, meaning these estimates represent rolling averages of survey results that were collected over a 5-year span (in this case 2019-2023). Therefore, these data do not represent any one specific point in time or even one specific year. For geographic areas with larger populations, 3-year and 1-year estimates are also available. 用户须知：美国社区调查数据为基于人口抽样调查得到的估算值，存在一定不确定性，并非对全体人口的精确统计（完整人口普查每十年仅开展一次，且无法覆盖如此多的人口详细特征）。因此，ACS发布的任何统计结果均不应被视为精确数值——这也是ACS统计数据同步附带对应误差范围（Margin of Error, MOE）的原因。误差范围与对应估算值的比值可用于衡量该估算值准确性的置信水平。每项误差范围的单位与对应统计量的单位完全一致：例如，若估算值为数值，则误差范围亦为数值；若估算值为百分比，则误差范围亦为百分比。

此外，对于本次展示的普查街区这类较小的地理区域，ACS仅发布合并后的5年周期估算值，即此类估算值为2019-2023年五年间收集的调查结果的滚动平均值。因此，本数据集并不代表任何单一时间点或单一年份的数据。对于人口规模较大的地理区域，还可获取3年及1年周期的ACS估算值。如需进一步了解ACS估算值与误差范围的相关说明，请访问美国人口普查局ACS官方网站。
