容器包装は、2019年の世界のプラスチック消費量の約31パーセントを占めました。容器包装部門は、今後数十年にわたってプラスチック消費量が業界最大となる見込みです。世界のプラスチック消費量に占める割合が2番目に多かったのは建築・建設部門で、約17パーセントとなっています。 

Container packaging accounted for approximately 31 percent of the global plastic consumption in 2019. The container packaging sector is expected to remain the largest consumer of plastics over the next several decades. The second-largest sector contributing to the global plastic consumption was the construction and construction sector, with a share of about 17 percent.
