<i>Kluyveromyces</i><i> marxianus</i> strain 2Q phylogenetic analyses and ITS sequence alignment

This item includes an ITS sequence alignment of Kluyveromyces spp. strains and a phylogenetic tree based on that alignment. The tree was constructed to determine the species-level identity of strain 2Q, a yeast obtained from kefir in Chile. The phylogenetic analysis was carried out with MEGA X, using the maximum likelihood method with the T92 + G substitution model. Statistical support of groupings was determined with 1000 bootstrap replicates.
