台灣獼猴桃蟲癭的物種調查鑑定與生活史建立(1/2)

We find a new species of Pseudasphondylia gall midge induced galls on three of the five Actinidia plants in Taiwan, which are male and female of A. rufa, female of A. setosa and male and female of A. callosa var. discolor. The gall midge formed galls science May 2017. Galls were maturing during August. Adults of gall midge emerged from late September to November 2017. Major emerging period was October 2017. We found 1 instar and 3 instar larvae which diapaused at November 2017, they could be diapaused through winter inside the falling galls. As the numbers of galls and fruits, Actinidia rufa is the one species has the potential to develop related products. We preserved the five species of Actinidia plants in Taipei Botanical Garden. For greening landscape, we suggest to use A. rufa, A. callosa var. discolor and A. setosa during spring and summer.
