THE PROBLEM OF CODE-SWITCHING AMONG UZBEK LEARNERS DURING ENGLISH SPEAKING

This article discusses one common problem among Uzbek learners while speaking English — code-switching. Many students mix Uzbek, Russian, and English during conversations because they cannot quickly find the right English words or expressions. The paper explains the main reasons behind this problem, how it affects speaking fluency, and what teachers and students can do to reduce it. The article is based on classroom observations and personal learning experiences.
