Through RNA-seq analysis, we found that PTS helps SEZ reduce the transcriptional levels of relA under low glucose environment, thereby preventing the accumulation of ppGpp.All strains were grown in CDM with different concentrations of glucose at mid-exponential phase.Total RNA was isolated as described above and used to construct the library following removal ribosomal RNA.
