Based on the responses of 599 Western Indian Ocean fishers. Splits were based potentially on all variables described in Table 1. Sites are coloured by country (Blue – Seychelles, Green – Mauritius, Purple – Tanzania, Black – Kenya, Red – Madagascar). Numbers of fishers opting to stay (left) and exit (right) are shown at each branch.
