Raw data of PC-0 and PC-50 cases for paper: Impacts of photocatalytic hydrogen production on the European energy system

Here we provide raw data from the paper: Impacts of photocatalytic hydrogen production on the European energy systemThe two main cases (PC-0 and PC-50) are published here. All other cases will be made available on reasonable request. PC-0 (150_lv1.25_I_H_2045_3H_PC_925Euro) optimization with no photocatalysis but all hydrogen provided through electrolysis.PC-50 (150_lv1.25_I_H_2045_3H_PC_650Euro) optimization where hydrogen is about 50 % produced by photocatalysis and 50 % by electrolysis raw output: elec_s_150_lv1.25__I-H_2045.nc config file to create the output: config.elec_s_150_lv1.25__I-H_2045.yaml custom cost file to create the output: costs_2040.csv Additionally to the raw output data (.nc files) from the runs with the customized PyPSA-Eur-PC [zenodo] and atlite-pc [zenodo] we provide the utilized input files that were used to generate the this raw data. The .nc files were created using PyPSA Version v0.28.0 which might be usefull for opening them. All post-processing steps to create plots are documented in photocatalysis-europe [zenodo].
