Census of Population and Housing, 1990: Public Use Microdata Samples, Puerto Rico 1 Percent Sample

<p>This data collection consists of Public Use Microdata Samples (PUMS) that contain records representing 1% samples of the housing units in Puerto Rico and the persons in them. Selected group quarters persons are also included. The files contain individual weights for each person and housing unit which, when applied to the individual records, expand the sample to the total population. Items on the housing record include air conditioning, bathrooms, bedrooms, cost of utilities, gross rent, household income, tenure, type of construction, and vehicles available. Items on the person record include age, educational attainment, income by Type, martial status, occupation, weight, poverty status, time of departure to work, and travel time to work.</p>
