Machine Translation Between Saami Languages, 2017

The aim of this project was to develop programs for machine translation from Northern Sami language to other Sami languages. By translating Northern Sami language into other Sami languages, the community of Sami language users may benefit from the work done on Northern Sami language. The project has also yielded new insights in the comparative syntax and vocabulary of Sami language.
