Diagnosing the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation in density space is critical under abrupt climate change - Model Output Part II

This dataset contains model output used to derive the figures in the manuscript entitled "Diagnosing the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation in density space is critical under abrupt climate change". Submitted to Geophysical Research Letters in March, 2025. 

The files include the last 200 years of the experiment "abrupt4xco2" of the following 4D variables (time, lat, lon, density):

Mean layer thickness of density classes: "std_dens_H"

Divergence of density classes from diapycnal velocity: "std_dens_DIV"

Volume trend: "std_dens_dVdT"

Divergence of density classes from bolus velocity: "std_dens_DIVbolus"
