MS2-affinity purification coupled to RNA-sequencing (MAPS) reveals targetomes of Z. mobilis sRNAs Zms4 and Zms6

The MS2-affinity purification coupled to RNA-sequencing (MAPS) approach was used to identify RNA targets that physically associate in vivo with Zymomonas mobilis small RNAs Zms4 and Zms6. Overall design: RNA-sequencing of affinity-purified in vivo regulatory complexes in three Z. mobilis strains containing plasmids expressing MS2-Zms4, MS2-Zms6, and MS2 alone. MS2-Zms4 and MS2-Zms6 were each compared to MS2 alone as a control, each with biological triplicates.
