Bacterial diversity in dioxin contaminated soil

In this study, we uncovered the bacterial structure in long-term dioxin-contaminated soil; the samples were collected from dioxin hot spots Phu Cat and Bien Hoa airbase with the difference in the level of dioxin. Isolated bacteria as dioxin degraders belonging to the genus Neobacillus, this bacterial strain is a novel dioxin-degrading bacterial candidate.
