资源简介:
Non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus adversely alters bone cell functions, causing decreased bone quality. Emerging evidence suggests that long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) participate in a vast repertoire of biological processes and play essential roles in gene expression and posttranscriptional processes. LncRNAs are also implicated in the pathogenesis of many human diseases. To investigate the functional link the specific lncRNA and elucidate the molecular mechanisms, we assessed the structure of the bones from diet-induced obese (DIO) mice and wild type (WT) mice screened mRNAs and lncRNAs, and functionally identified a specific lncRNA. 18-week old male DIO mice (12-week high fat diet) and 18-week old male WT mice were used for microarray assay and comparison of the gene characteristics Overall design: Jake, Chen
