The CliN-BluFeed project, funded by the European Union Sustainability Blue Economy Partnership, aims to develop methodologies that advance the Norwegian Sea Calanus finmarchicus fishery as a sustainable, climate-neutral blue resource for the aquaculture industry, by combining low-carbon autonomous marine monitoring technologies with satellite remote sensing, artificial intelligence, simulation modelling, and experimental investigations. Here you find the CliN-BluFeed project deliverable D1.5 - "Satellite images collected during campaigns". During the 2024 and 2025 CliN-BluFeed campaigns, autonomous marine vehicles were deployed to collect in-situ observations, while satellite monitoring supported field operations by providing near-real-time information on ocean colour and surface ocean conditions. In 2024, a SailBuoy equipped with an echosounder and additional sensors was deployed, at the same time of a research vessel from another project, in the northern Norwegian shelf region, and daily satellite maps were produced from Copernicus Marine Service data for 17 May–5 June 2024. The satellite dataset provides Sentinel-3 OLCI-derived chlorophyll-a concentration, RGB composites, and remote sensing reflectances, together with multi-mission satellite altimetry products including sea level anomaly and geostrophic currents. In 2025, a SailBuoy equipped with an echo sounder and two Seagliders equipped with UVP6 optical sensors and echo sounders were deployed and operated without research vessel support. Satellite data was created to followed the SailBuoy track and supporting the ongoing navigation operations through daily multi-sensor ocean colour products from Sentinel-3 OLCI, MODIS, and VIIRS, including chlorophyll-a concentration, RGB composites, and red-band remote sensing reflectance. These products were shared through an online dashboard and a Web Map Service for joint visualization with sailbouy and glider trajectories. Files are organized by cruise, and each cruise folder contains a data description document and a table summarizing data availability.
