Scientific data and code supporting 'Beyond event counts: threshold-response surfaces map trade-offs in automated earthquake catalogues'. The workflow package contains frozen input snapshots, effective configurations, 720 controlled PyOcto and GaMMA runs, a continuous 24-hour Geysers waveform and picking workflow, 144 daily association runs, distance and duration controls, location and station-holdout records, 540 synthetic runs, derived tables and ten figures. The evidence package supplies source-record checks and 597 unfiltered waveform clips for 199 station-level correlation comparisons. Each package has one README.txt execution guide and a file-hash manifest. The workflow reconstructs saved-result summaries and figures and replays one case per associator; the evidence commands recompute targeted summaries and waveform correlations. Version 2.1.1 updates the study-design figure, its caption and drawing source to distinguish candidate-set evaluation from event evidence at preselected settings, and clarifies the event-template wording in the Fig. 4 caption. Scientific observations, event and assignment outputs, and numerical results are unchanged from version 2.1.0. Historical versions remain available through the version history. Author-owned materials are licensed under CC BY 4.0. Third-party observations, software and pretrained model weights retain their source attribution and original terms.
