资源简介:
This dataset supports an empirical study examining how renewable energy consumption and institutional quality influence low-carbon inclusive growth in Sub-Saharan Africa. The study spans 40 countries over the period 2000–2023 and integrates multiple socioeconomic and environmental indicators. Key variables include the Low-Carbon Inclusive Growth Index (LCIGI), constructed from normalized measures of inclusive growth and carbon intensity; renewable energy consumption; institutional quality (derived from World Governance Indicators); foreign direct investment (FDI); population growth; and trade openness. The data have been cleaned, structured, and analyzed using panel econometric methods—specifically, System GMM and Panel ARDL—for robustness. Sources include the World Bank’s World Development Indicators (WDI), Worldwide Governance Indicators (WGI), and UN datasets. This dataset can be used to replicate or extend the findings, and is suitable for research on sustainable development, green growth, institutional economics, and energy policy in developing regions.
