Digital Ethnographic Classification of Dismissive Minimalist Commenting Behavior
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains a short-form digital ethnographic field report documenting and classifying a recurrent low-engagement commenting behavior observed in algorithmically mediated video platforms. The report introduces a provisional taxonomic label (Homo commentarius reductivus) and analyzes its behavioral patterns, cognitive strategies, and ecological function within recommendation-driven media environments. The material is derived from direct observation of a real-time YouTube comment interaction responding to analytical content on AI failure modes. The report treats the comment not as discourse but as a behavioral signal, reframing dismissal as an expected boundary-maintenance response rather than critique. This dataset is intended for researchers studying digital ethnography, platform behavior, algorithmic attention systems, and conversational failure modes in human–AI adjacent discourse.
