Staphylococcus aureus subsp. aureus Genome sequencing and assembly

Here we present a comprehensive study of S. aureus strains in China, addressing epidemiology, phylogenetic reconstruction, genomic characterisation, and identification of antibacterial resistance profiles. The study analyses 673 S. aureus isolates from multiple sources. The isolates have been collected over an 8-year period, between 2010 and 2018, from 27 provinces across China.
