Sequencing of Arab horse mare uterus with endometriosis

Endometriosis is a fibrosis of tissues surrounding endometrial glands. As a result of this pathological changes, uterine insufficiency leads to early embryonic death due to improper embryo development or obstacles in blastocysts implantation and abortions in later pregnancy. It is one of the most common causes of reduced fertility in mares. The pathogenesis of the disease is still unknown.In this study, global analysis of gene expression pattern in Arab mare uterus with endometrosis is utilized in order to elucidate th molecular background of the disease.
