The spatial distribution characteristics of soil microbial community diversity and composition on the shores of lake Daihai were studied, and the corresponding environmental driving factors and potential microbial functions were discussed. Therefore, in this study, Illumina MiSeq high-throughput sequencing technology was used to study the characteristics of microbial communities in different directions and different distance gradients in the lakeside soil of Daihai Lake. We assessed differences in the abundance and structural diversity of microbial communities. The study results reveal the distribution pattern and environmental driving factors of the microbial community in the lakeside soil of Daihai Lake, deepen the understanding of the microbial community in the arid lakeside wetland ecosystem, and have important significance for the management and protection of the ecosystem in this region.
