Supplementary Material (SWeeTComp: A Framework for Software Testing Competency Assessment)

In this supplementary material, artifacts, tables, and images used in the study of the SWeeTComp evaluation of the article SWeeTComp: A Framework for Software Testing Competency Assessment will be presented as support material. SWeeTComp (A Framework for Software Testing Competency Assessment) was developed as a framework for self-assessment and identification of competency gaps in software testing. To evaluate it, we conducted a study with 22 participants from a Software Engineering course at a Federal University to investigate the effectiveness of SWeeTComp as a self-assessment tool, analyzing its ability to identify competencies and gaps. Additionally, the participants evaluated the SWeeTComp framework, providing feedback on its usability and effectiveness. The results indicate that SWeeTComp helped the participants clearly identify their competencies and areas for improvement. The evaluation of the framework by the participants was also positive, highlighting the utility and clarity of SWeeTComp, although some areas for improvement were identified, such as the need for more precise instructions and more detailed feedback.
