This volume consists of copies of letters and telegrams sent to and received from the Under Secretary for Mines, the Chief Mining Surveyor, the Chief Inspector of Mines, the Mining Wardens at Trunkey and Bathurst and individual miners. In addition, copies of reports on the state of mining in the Sofala Mining Division for the years 1892 to 1895, and 1899, are also included.
