Simulated bulk density (BD) of surface soils (0–10 cm) in coastal saltmarshes of China (2022)

This dataset provides a 10-m resolution GeoTIFF raster of predicted soil bulk density (BD, g cm⁻³) in the 0–10 cm surface layer of coastal saltmarsh soils in China for 2022. Predictions were generated using an ExtraTrees machine learning model trained with field measurements collected during 2020–2023， remote sensing variables, climate data, anthropogenic disturbance indices, and Alpha Earth Foundation (AEF) bands. The product serves as a key input for estimating soil organic carbon content and stock in saltmarsh ecosystems.<br>Please cite Qi G, Wei J, Li H, et al.
