资源简介:

This dataset contains supporting data for the manuscript “Linking Hydrological Connectivity to Vegetation Carbon Storage: Insights from the Largest Freshwater Lake in China” submitted to Water Resources Research. The files provide quantitative information on seasonal isolated lakes (SILs) within the Poyang Lake floodplain, focusing on hydrological connectivity functions and vegetation carbon storage. Specifically, the dataset includes: Annual carbon storage of seasonal isolated lakes, derived from remote sensing and field data. Carbon storage by connectivity type and connectivity strength, based on cluster analysis of interannual connectivity differences. Carbon storage per unit area of seasonal isolated lakes, used to normalize spatial variations. Connectivity functions in different directions and distances, calculated for rising, flood, receding, and dry hydroperiods. Proportion of carbon pools in seasonal isolated lakes, distinguishing contributions from soil, vegetation, and water. These datasets directly support the analyses and figures presented in the manuscript, enabling reproducibility and providing a basis for further studies on the ecological role of hydrological connectivity in floodplain wetlands.
