Dataset used in: "Atmospheric loss of energetic electrons and protons from the radiation belts after the exceptional injection of the 11 May 2024 superstorm leading to four electron belts".
The _Energetic Particle Telescope_ (EPT) measures the flux of energetic electrons and protons in the Earth's _radiation belts_ on a low Earth orbit (820 km) onboard the PROBA-V satellite.
This dataset is comprised in its entirety of processed data from the EPT. In each file, the data is averaged in time and in McIlwain L-parameter (L-Time bins). However, the binning, the type of particles fluxes, and time coverage differs between the files.

This file contains the electron fluxes averaged in L-Time bins with a weekly resolution, covering data spanning from 2020 to 2025
* __Electrons daily 2024-2025 LT__
This file contains the electron fluxes averaged in L-Time bins with a daily resolution, covering data spanning from 2024 to 2025
* __Protons daily 2024-2025 LT__
This file contains the proton fluxes averaged in L-Time bins with a daily resolution in the southern hemisphere, covering data spanning from 2024 to 2025
