The files provided here contain the results of BVOC emissions experiments associated with present day land cover in the UK, and net-zero aligned afforestated experiments. Contents Needleleaf_mean_emissions_potentials_by_species_Mooneyetal Mean emissions potentials for isoprene and total monoterpenes for each needleleaf tree species used in the afforestation experiments. NETT and NEBT are the default MEGAN values for needleleaf evergreen temperate trees and needleleaf evergreen boreal trees, respectively. UK_appropriate_mix values are weighted means based on current UK species abundance. Broadleaf_mean_emissions_potentials_by_species_Mooneyetal Mean emissions potentials for isoprene and total monoterpenes for each broadleaf tree species used in the afforestation experiments. BDTT and BDBT are the default MEGAN values for broadleaf deciduous temperate trees and broadleaf deciduous boreal trees, respectively. UK_appropriate_mix values are weighted means based on current UK species abundance. Emissions_potentials_Mooneyetal Emissions potentials for isoprene and total monoterpenes for six emissions potential scenarios. In scenarios beginning “NL*” or “BL*”, the values relate to needleleaf (NL) or broadleaf (BL). Corresponding values for the other PFTs are those of the UK_appropriate_mix scenario. Total_annual_BVOC_emissions_and_percentage_change_Mooneyetal Total annual emissions (kt) for isoprene and total monoterpenes for seven experiments. Percentage change in emissions is given relative to the Present_day_Current_UK_mix experiment.
