PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vulcanized fiber containing a carbon fiber yet free from a carbon fiber jut-out from its surface， having excellent dimensional stability， and moreover， less strain. SOLUTION: The invention provides a vulcanized fiber having a surface layer， a back layer， and at least one layer of middle layer between the surface layer and the back layer， wherein the vulcanized fiber is characterized by that only the middle layer includes a carbon fiber， and thicknesses of the surface layer and the back layer are 50 μm or over.
