Riscoprire Gianni Rodari

Gianni Rodari belongs to the great classics of literature that never exhaust what they have to say but that must be recovered in their deepest authenticity (Nobile, 2017, p.191). Since the nineteenth century, educate young people about good feelings and conform them to the dominant values it was this purpose characterized the youth literature in our country and several authors have written important works. The Rodarian Opera has contributed to the renewal of literature for children, for the use of a new style and new themes that express the daily life of the popular masses, starting the fantasy in every direction. Rodari becomes the most significant writer in democratic and republican Italy and educator who exalts education considered an instrument of redemption from poverty and for the acquisition of a class conscience (Cambi, 1985, p. 127). Today, the author's literary production is current has much to say, in terms of recognition and appreciation of childhood, which requires specific pedagogical attention to nourish the working dimension of reality. The fairy tale continues to play an important role in the interweaving of narrative, fantasy and education, fundamental for the small reader and the adult. Attention is paid to the recovery of the Rodarian stylistic-formal lesson and the moral and didactic aspect of the works in view of human formation (Cambi, 1985, p. 191).
