EVOLUTION OF THE X-RAY PROPERTIES OVER THE LIFETIMES OF RADIO-LOUD AGN

The new Xray observatories have given us great insights into the energeticaccretion processes in active galaxies, providing important clues about possibleconnections between different classes of radioquiet and radioloud AGN.Although much of the current work is focused on parameterizing the Xrayemission of AGN, virtually nothing is known about the possible evolution of theXray properties over the lifetime of an AGN. We propose to perform the firstXray observations of the 5 most famous and extensively studied young GPS radiogalaxies in the sky.
