Public Engagement Event Report 2025 - Research Priority Setting for Primary Prevention of Cardiometabolic Disease in Ethnic Minority Women with PCOS in South Yorkshire

<b>Executive Summary</b>This report presents findings from a community engagement event designed to understand the lived experiences of ethnic minority women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and identify research priorities for improving care in this population. Through structured discussions, arts-based activities and priority-setting exercises, participants explored the complex intersections between PCOS, healthcare experiences, and long-term health implications.The event revealed significant gaps in healthcare provision and understanding of PCOS as a lifelong metabolic condition rather than merely a reproductive disorder.
